Georgia Turns 10

Ten years ago, my Georgia was born.  

Ten!

Ten years ago, on a snowy Tuesday, I gave birth to little Georgia.  (I've written about Georgia's birth HERE (click here))  This year, Georgia's birthday fell on a Monday and it was more than a little anti-climatic.  There were early morning presents... and then school... and then homework.... and then a birthday meal, birthday cake and bed.  The End.  Her friend party will be later in the new year.  It was a good day, but it wasn't the most exciting day.  So in honor of Georgia, and her tenth year, I assembled the following:

Happy Birthday, Georgia!  It's been a fun year of family, friends, sports, activities, accomplishments, games, arts, sailing, swimming, lacrosse-ing, soccer-ing, beach-ing and school.  You grew many inches, read every book you could get your hands on and ran about 2 zillion miles.  You passed third grade and moved on to fourth.  You learned to play the recorder and then moved on to the flute.  You played on three different soccer teams and one lacrosse team.  You learned to sail, passed your last pool test, and learned to make your own macaroni and cheese from a box.
